LEGAL
Acceptable Use Policy.
Last updated: 19 September 2026
Inboxtel provides virtual numbers for legitimate SMS verification. We take abuse seriously — both because it's the right thing to do, and because bad actors ruin the Service for everyone else. This policy explains what's allowed and what isn't.
Bottom line: Use numbers for your own account verifications, or for legitimate business purposes. Don't use them to deceive, defraud, or harass anyone. If you abuse the Service, we will suspend you without refund and, where required, cooperate with law enforcement.

- This applies everywhere, without exception. We report violations to the appropriate authorities.
3.5 Platform and security violations

- Preventing account takeover
Monitoring includes:
- Velocity checks (how fast numbers are purchased)
- IP logging and geographic analysis
- Pattern detection for fraud signatures
- Manual review of suspicious accounts
We do not monitor the content of messages delivered to you. We do not read SMS codes. We only look at account behavior and patterns.
5. Enforcement
If we determine you have violated this policy, we may take any of the following actions depending on the severity and nature of the violation:
- Warning — for minor or first-time issues
- Temporary suspension — your account is frozen for a set period
- Permanent termination — your account is closed, and you may not create a new one
- Forfeiture of balance — in cases of fraud, funds may be withheld
- Reporting to authorities — for criminal matters, we will cooperate with law enforcement
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account, at our sole discretion, at any time, without prior notice.

If you become aware of abuse of the Inboxtel Service — by another user or otherwise — please report it to us:
- Email: support@inboxtel.com
- Include as much detail as possible: usernames, timestamps, screenshots, and a description
Reports are confidential. We investigate every credible report.
7. Appeals
If your account was suspended or terminated and you believe it was a mistake, you can appeal:
- Email support@inboxtel.com within 14 days of the action
- Explain clearly why you believe the enforcement was incorrect
- Provide any relevant evidence
Appeals are reviewed manually. We'll respond within 10 business days. Decisions on appeals are final.
8. Legal Cooperation
Where we receive valid legal requests from law enforcement or regulatory authorities, we cooperate fully. This may include sharing account data, transaction history, and IP logs as required by law.
9. Updates to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
